Tennis update

So last week the weather Gods were not favourable and we only managed to play one match out of the 5. That happened to be the men's singles match I played and won with 6-2, 7-5. We now have to play the rest of the matches on the 7th of June.

Then this weekend we played another series of matches and we won 5-0. I played the men's singles (6-2, 6-4) and a thriller of a men's doubles (1-6, 6-1, 6-4).

This means I have now played 10 matches (6 singles and 4 doubles) and won all of them. I better move from level 7 to level 6 after this year ;-)

Queensday

Wednesday was koninginnedag (Queensday) in the Netherlands. The national holiday is to celebrate the birthday of the previous Queen Juliana. The current Queen Beatrix kept the day of her Mother's birthday to celebrate this national holiday and Queensday is known for everyone dressing up in Orange with crazy outfits and hats and lots of live music... Here are some pictures of this year's Queensday in Amsterdam...
