What did you do this weekend?

Colleague: "Hey, what did you do this weekend?"
Me: "Went Christmas shopping with my wife in Miami"
Colleague: "What??? Just for the weekend???"
Me: "Sure, why not?"

Ok, so I really went to celebrate Cécile's birthday and while I was there we also happened to finish all our Christmas shopping, but my colleague sure was confused ;-)

It was wonderful being able to spend the weekend with my lovely wife!!

Catching up with old friends

One of my old friends and colleague from way back in the early days of working at Symantec (as far back as the Kanaalpark office, not the newer Key Point building) is now living in Reading and we decided to catch up while enjoying a couple of Pints. It was great to see Bart and catch up and talk about old times and get updated on new things. Bart has been living in the UK for five years now and it was really good to see him. I even managed to get 2 photos, taken by the girl behind the bar at "The Globe" across from Baker Street Tube station. Ok, so the first picture has lots of glare from the flash in the mirror and on the second one Bart closed his eyes (typical Bart) but at least we got our picture taken... ;-)
